Addicted (2002 film)

Addicted is a 2002 South Korean thriller film directed by Park Younghoon and starring Lee Byunghun and Lee Miyeon. In 2009 it was remade into an American film called Possession.

Both Daejun and Hojun fall into comas. A year later, Daejun wakes up, but is unable to walk properly, due in part to his physical injuries. He is brought home by Eunsoo, where she attempts to take care of him while he recovers. Over time, Eunsoo realises that Daejun is behaving identically to her husband. Daejun tries to convince Eunsoo that he feels like he is actually Hojun, but cannot explain why. He agrees to go for a hypnosis test, and his answers so reflect his brothers character that the doctor concludes that Hojuns spirit has entered Daejuns body. Eunsoo is devastated by this revelation.Eunsoo, unable to accept Daejun as Hojun, tells Daejuns girlfriend Hejin that she is unable to live with Daejun. Hejin offers to take Daejun away to work with her at a farm and Daejun agrees to go there for the sake of Eunsoo. However, one rainy day, Daejun appears to Eunsoo, just as Hojun had before. They discuss memories together and Eunsoo finally accepts Daejun as the possessed spirit of her former husband. Daejun and Eunsoo then share a slow, steamy, emotional night together after the tearful revelation. They start to live life together as a happy and loving couple. In time, Eunsoo becomes pregnant with Daejuns child. ........
